Long-running Chicano punk icons Manic Hispanic have officially dropped off the upcoming Punk In The Park festival dates. The band joins a growing list of artists distancing themselves from the event following the revelation that festival owner Cameron Collins (Brew Ha Ha Productions) made significant financial contributions to Donald Trump’s political campaign.

Manic Hispanic, known for their satirical takes on punk classics and their deep roots in the Southern California punk scene, issued a statement indicating that they could not, in good conscience, remain on the bill. The band noted that their identity and message stand in direct opposition to the policies and rhetoric associated with the Trump administration.

Their departure follows similar moves by 8 Kalacas, Naked Aggression, and N8NOFACE, while the Dead Kennedys have announced they will fulfill their current 2026 obligations before severing ties with the festival for good.
